The 2nd edition of the Fat Bike Challenge Mont-Sainte-Anne will be held from February 10th to 12th. The first edition was a great success, as evidenced by the high turn out rate and the appreciation of the participants who called it “Québec’s winter cycling event of the year” in 2016.
The 2017 edition will be a great festive rendezvous spread over three days. “We were innovative in 2016 by proposing the descent of Mont-Sainte-Anne, we wanted to innovate again this year by setting up the first criterium on snow in Quebec and a time trial», says Jean-François Ermel, instigator of the Fat Bike Challenge Mont-Sainte-Anne and production manager. «Our destination has much to offer for winter bike enthusiasts, the Challenge is a great way to show what it is possible to do here.»
“We were seduced by the formula of the Fat Bike Challenge, very varied from one day to another. It is a great fatbike celebration for everyone: those who want to have fun by taking part in a unique adventure, as much as the winter cyclists who thirst for competitive challenges! “, says Bruno Duval-Gagnon of Toiture et Gouttières Polaire, a partner-presenter of the event..
The Fat Bike Challenge is the result of a close collaboration between Mont-Sainte-Anne, the Mont Sainte-Anne Cycling Club and Quartier Général.
